We have come to the 10th (!!!) International Budapest Cup Regatta that will be held on April 4th this year. As regulars, many of you have seen with your own eyes in the last ten years that the race has become one of the biggest races in the regional rowing community.
Ten years, countless results
As the founder of the Capital Cup Regatta Tour, we have been able to join the races in the bustle of the European masters and club level rowing
championships. Each year, a number of 60 to 80 eights participate in the event, representing 500 to 700 rowers from 8-12 countries. It has become a must for the lovers of rowing and a great experience for sports enthusiasts.
Singles on water this year
For the first time in the history of the Budapest Cup, the organizers, the Danubius National Rowing Club, the Hungarian Rowing Association and the Budapest Rowing Association will launch a separate division for a couple of singles on the course. In the races limited for only 25 entries, each participant will take part in the same age group, with male and female rowers being rewarded separately.
Registration is now open until February 29, 2020, and we are looking forward to see you entering the competition for eights, women’s quadruple and, for the first time in the history of the competition, singles as well.
