The Danubius National Boating Club, the Hungarian Rowing Association and the Budapest Rowing Rowing Association is organizing the Hungarian Season Opening 27. Count István Széchenyi Memorial Regatta.
The main race of the event is the 7th International Budapest Cup Regatta head race, which has become one of the most visited international rowing events in Central Eastern Europe in recent years. The participation is open for eights in all categories and women’s quadrupple sculls.

The regatta also in 2016/2017 is part of the Capital Cup Rowing Tour among Zagreb and Vienna!

On the second day of the event the organisers will have races in fixed seated boats for crews of 10 rower – with basic rowing experience and the university champs in the same boatclass-
